IKO Metals
DECRA by IKO Metals brings decades of experience in stone-coated steel roofing to residential and commercial roofing projects. Now part of IKO Metals, DECRA combines its established expertise in stone-coated steel roofing with IKO’s manufacturing capabilities and resources. The brand specializes in metal roofing systems designed to deliver the appearance of traditional roofing materials while providing the durability and performance of steel.
DECRA roofing products are available in profiles inspired by materials such as tile and wood shake, giving homeowners and contractors options for achieving different architectural looks without relying on traditional clay or wood roofing. Its stone-coated steel construction is designed for demanding weather conditions, with IKO Metals products carrying Class 4 impact resistance and a Class A fire rating.
With the launch of IKO Metals, DECRA is part of IKO’s growing focus on metal roofing. The portfolio currently includes profiles such as Mediterranean Tile, Farmhouse Shake and Spanish Tile, with the Ennis, Texas, manufacturing facility supporting production of DECRA and other IKO Metals products.
DECRA by IKO Metals specializes in:
- Stone-coated steel roofing
- Residential metal roofing systems
- Tile-inspired metal roofing profiles
- Shake-inspired metal roofing profiles

Spanish tile
Spanish Tile captures the sweeping curves and timeless character of traditional Spanish clay tile in high-performance stone-coated steel. Enjoy the distinctive beauty of clay at a fraction of the weight, with strength and durability designed to endure.
Spanish Tile blends the beauty of traditional barrel-style clay tiles with the strength of stone-coated steel. Barrel-style clay tile roofs are known for the classic curves and elegance of Spanish architecture, but traditional clay is also heavy and fragile. Hail, storm debris and even routine roof maintenance can damage tiles, while moisture absorption can add stress to the roof’s supporting structure over time. Spanish Tile delivers the timeless beauty of traditional clay with the strength of stone-coated steel, standing up to hail, rain, fire, storm debris and even hurricane-force winds.

Mediterranean tile
Mediterranean Tile carries the aesthetic of Old World clay tile in stone-coated steel. Low profile, scalloped silhouette and built to withstand every weather cycle.
Mediterranean Tile provides the 1.5 LBS./SQUARE FOOT classic scallop-style look without the shortcomings of conventional clay or concrete tiles. Mediterranean Tile blends the strength and durability of stone-coated steel with timeless, scalloped beauty to elegantly stand up to hail, rain, fire, storm debris and even hurricane-force winds. Conventional tiles fracture easily and over time can absorb moisture, adding unnecessary weight and stress on the roof’s supporting structure. Hail, storm debris and even walking can cause damage to traditional clay tile roofs.

Farmhouse shake
Farmhouse Shake replicates the rich detail and shadow lines of cedar shakes while eliminating the burdens of the traditional high-maintenance shake roof. Even the best cedar shakes weather over time, with colors fading and repeated wet/dry cycles causing cupping, warping and loosening around fasteners. Traditional shakes also require ongoing maintenance and chemical treatments to preserve their appearance and provide minimal fire resistance. Farmhouse Shake delivers the natural beauty and texture of cedar without the same maintenance concerns. Warranted to last a limited lifetime,1 it stands up to hail, rain, fire, storm debris and hurricane-force winds while maintaining authentic cedar textures in virtually any climate.
