The Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) is hosting their National Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM) from May 28-30, 2026, in Québec City, Québec. This milestone event brings roofing professionals from across Canada to network with each other, share knowledge and celebrate the hard work of roofers around the country.
This year’s event is being held at the Hilton Québec (1100 Bd René-Lévesque E, Québec, QC G1R 4P3). This hotel is located at the heart of Old Québec, providing attendees with a great opportunity to experience rich history, vibrant culture and renowned dining options while at the conference. Room rates start at $299.00 per night and, for those driving in, parking is an additional nightly fee.
Planning on flying rather than driving? CRCA is partnering with Air Canada and West Jet to get discounts on travel! With Air Canada, use the code CKACFK41 when booking flights to Québec City, YQB (CA) between 5/21/2026 and 6/6/2026 to receive discounts on fares. Similarly, on West Jet, code 0V0A6MO can get you fare discounts on flights to Québec City between 5/21/2026 and 6/6/2026.
As for the conference itself, everything kicks off on Thursday (5/28/2026). Registration and badge pick-up will be open in the lobby from 11 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and at 6 p.m. the welcome reception, sponsored by AMCQ, will be held.
Day two, Friday, 5/29/26, will kick off with opening remarks from CRCA before jumping into education sessions! These sessions cover a variety of topics, from market trends and sustainable building practices to workforce development and AI technology. This day closes with the much-anticipated President’s Gala – a night full of celebration, awards and more!
And for the closing day, Saturday, 5/30/26, the morning starts with the CRCA’s AGM and a keynote about leadership in high-pressure times from Dany Dubé, renowned hockey coach who you might’ve heard analyzing Montreal Canadiens games on 98.5 FM alongside Martin McGuire. The day’s events end around noon with closing remarks and farewells from CRCA.
In addition to the program activities, there are a variety of partner activities offered on Friday and Saturday. Notably, there will be a food and drink tour from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Friday that will take attendees on a walking tour around Old Québec for 5+ food stops. This is a great opportunity to get around the city and see noteworthy sites like the Château Frontenac and City Hall. Then on Saturday, a guided knitting activity will give attendees a chance to slow down and reflect on the conference alongside their peers and leave with a beautiful chunky scarf!
Registration for these events and for the whole conference is now open, so secure your spot today!
