Two Ways to Securely Mount HVAC Equipment

KnuckleHead Mechanical Support Kits - Green Link Engineering

If you have customers who want their HVAC equipment mounted securely, Green Link Engineering has the mechanical support kit for you! Their kits not only keep HVAC equipment in place thanks to their KnuckleHead bases, but they also only take 15 minutes to install. 

Here are two base assembly kits Green Link Engineering has to offer: 

Elevated mechanical support assembly 

Green Link’s Elevated Mechanical Support Assembly can mount all kinds of HVAC equipment on the roof and ground. They can mount single HVAC units but they can also be modified with banks if multiple units need to be installed. They offer two base designs: a universal base with a 7-inch diameter and 38 square inches of surface area and a big base with a 12-inch diameter and 113.1 square inches of surface area. Along with installation hardware, their kit contains: 

• Four KnuckleHead bases (each holding up to 600 pounds) 

• Four 2’ stanchion supports 

• Two 4’ support rails 

• Two adjustable equipment rails 

Low profile support system 

Their Low Profile Support System can support almost every type of mechanical equipment that is meant to be close to the surface of a roof. This includes AC units, heat pumps, condensers and more. It can mount equipment five inches above the surface and can support up to 850 pounds of equipment. It’s easy to install and the system can be leveled by simply rotating the KnuckleHead. Each kit contains: 

• Four Strut KnuckleHeads 

• Four support rails 

• Two equipment rails 

• Assembly hardware
