Tools that will last a lifetime

Tools that will last a lifetime

By Emma Peterson.

Learn how Van Mark sets contractors up for success with industry-leading products and support.

Van Mark Products have established an outstanding reputation in the construction tool industry. We got the chance to interview Yoni Kellman, the regional sales and marketing manager at Van Mark, about their incredible products. Yoni explained, “We build legacy tools that will last your entire career and probably be handed down. We are proud of this and make sure to support all our products, no matter how old, as best as we can. So, we still offer replacement parts for every brake we've ever made since 1964. And if we don’t have the actual parts, we're going to have something that will allow you to repair that brake. That’s our promise to our customers.”

This type of outstanding support is normal for the team at Van Mark. Recently, they have made it a priority to make step-by-step training videos accessible to contractors all over the country on their YouTube Channel. Yoni elaborated, “Sometimes the challenge with building with metal pieces is thinking through the steps. Often, there’s one that has to happen before another and one that has to go after in order to succeed. So we are creating this library on YouTube that is always growing and aims to help contractors with those processes.”

Van Mark also makes sure to provide all their contractors with a bending templates sheet. Yoni shared what this is, explaining, “With every brake we sell, we give them a printed paper that you cut into strips and tape on your material. Then, you can use that taped on guide to see where and how far to bend.” And of course, their team is always just one phone call away for any contractor looking for some extra help.

Yoni shared, “If somebody has a question about the operation, about the capabilities, about the warranty, whatever it may be, we're always here. You're not going to end up in a phone tree that takes you to an operator in a different country. We're all here, we're all very familiar with the products and we’re ready to handle any questions that come in and educate where we can.”
