These Asphalt Shingles Defend Against Algae!

New brochure from PABCO® highlights the features of their asphalt architectural shingles. 

Since 1984, PABCO® Roofing has been creating premium roofing products while also providing great customer service. They offer many kinds of asphalt shingles that not only look great, but defend against elements like algae. Their latest brochure provides information on two of their asphalt shingles: PABCO Prestige® and PABCO Premier®, both of which are equipped with Algae Defender® protection.  

PABCO Prestige 

PABCO Prestige heavyweight laminated asphalt shingles are offered in 11 colors, all of which can be seen in the brochure. They are a great choice for steep-slope home projects that are exposed to harsh elements. They meet the UL790 Class A fire resistance standard and have their Algae Defender protection. 

Algae Defender is an effective technology for combatting algae growth on roofs. Roofs on houses in wet climates are prone to algae which can harm the appearance and integrity of a roof. The Algae Defender in PABCO’s shingles ensures that each shingle is protected. Years of research data have shown that an even distribution of copper granules is effective against fighting algae. 

PABCO Premier 

These traditionally laminated shingles are available in 10 colors. The Premier shingles are perfect for roof upgrades and new homes and are a bit more lightweight than the Prestige shingles. They are also equipped with Algae Defender protection and are UL790 Class A fire resistant.  

Both of these shingles come with various warranties such as wind warranty, original homeowner warranty and subsequent homeowner warranty. Details of how long the warranties last on each of the shingles can be found in the brochure.
