The Scoping App Every Contractor Needs

ScopeAssist helps contractors quickly produce estimates that adjusters understand and accept.

Accurence, a mobile software service providing accuracy and intelligence, recently updated ScopeAssist, their flagship app for contractors. The mobile app allows contractors to focus on their customers and the job by standardizing inspections, simplifying photo documentation and streamlining scopes. Founded in 2008, Accurence has been leading the way in insurance intelligence, automated adjusting, guideline management and straight-through processing, and merged with Next Gear Solutions last year.

ScopeAssist’s easy-to-use interface walks contractors through each step of scoping a roof, compiling and analyzing all the data collected before integrating seamlessly with Xactimate to produce estimates that adjusters understand and accept. “Its intelligent guideline engine takes into account all required inspection items and delivers an adjuster-ready estimate before you’ve even left the roof,” according to Accurence.

The app’s integration with industry leader EagleView allows contractors to easily order aerial CADs, either taking advantage of ScopeAssist’s inclusive pricing or using their own CAD account. Either way, contractors will have roof measurements ready to go before they arrive onsite.

Once there, taking, organizing and captioning photos within the app is a breeze—even while on a rooftop. Auto-captions that change based on what is being scoped and a speech-to-text option for custom captions make including well-documented photos a central part of every scope. And, of course, there’s always the option of just typing out a caption manually.

An in-app glossary that defines roofing components from common to rare even helps new roofers thoroughly and accurately scope a roof and identify damages like a seasoned pro.

Once submitted, the scope of work is integrated seamlessly with Xactimate, and 60 seconds later contractors have an adjuster-ready estimate that can be sent directly to the insurance carrier. It’s a tool with the proven ability to help contractors stay organized and save them time on every job.

Accurence provides proven solutions that help contractors run a consistently smarter business. Their technology and specialized software apps, like ScopeAssist, help contractors build accuracy and intelligence into the homeowner claims process.

What are you waiting for? Download the Accurence app from Apple’s App Store or Google Play and start using ScopeAssist today!
