The future of the ECA

The future of the ECA
June 20, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.

By Emma Peterson.

How women are paving a path forward for exterior contractors.

This year, the Exterior Contractor Alliance (ECA) had a milestone moment when Lee Lipniskis, owner of Levello Construction, and Jewels DeCorsey, general manager at All Craft Exteriors, became the first women inducted to the ECA board! To learn more about this milestone moment, Megan Ellsworth sat down with Lee, Jewels and ECA’s Keely Roberts for an episode of Roofing Road Trips®

For both Lee and Jewels, their induction to the board was beyond meaningful. Jewels gave some insight into why it’s so significant, sharing, “This is just one example of how roofing ownership structures, groups and leadership evolving through representation of people like women, who have traditionally not been as included.”

Keely added her thoughts about the power of representation and what this moment means for the industry:

Women leaders in a male-populated industry bring unique insights and thinking to the table. They often look at things like business structures or organizations differently, and having their voices in groups like ECA is key to making dynamic, positive change for the industry on a whole.

Lee and Jewels cannot wait to make their voices heard and to help in building positive changes in the industry. As Lee put it, “I am excited to bring a somewhat fresh perspective. Even though I've been in the industry for a long time, my company is newer, and I think my experience with that will be helpful alongside the experience of the more seasoned owners on the board. By blending both of those experiences, it keeps ECA grounded and helps support contractors in all stages of their careers.”
