The Future of Liquid Roofing Reinforcements is Here

Tremco Future of Liquid Roofing

By Evelyn Witterholt.

With the new Permafab MAX reinforcing fabric, liquid roofing systems will be stronger and more stable.

Liquid-applied roofing solutions are an ideal choice for restoring a roof that isn’t in the best shape, but is otherwise structurally sound. These roofing systems are especially desirable for building owners who want to address their deteriorating roof, but don’t have the budget for a full roof replacement. For your next commercial liquid roofing job, consider reinforcing the system with Permafab MAX from Tremco

Permafab MAX is a stitch bonded polyester reinforcing fabric that’s designed to be used with Tremco’s liquid-applied roofing line. By using the reinforcement, you’ll be giving a liquid roofing system an additional boost of flexibility, strength and stability. It also can be used for roof maintenance when used with Tremco liquid applied products and sealants. Together, these products can be used to repair flashing, penetrations and roof seams.

This liquid roofing reinforcement fabric features quicker absorption rates than other reinforcements on the market. This helps speed up the application process and reduces the amount of installation errors. It also has good elongation properties and resistance against thermal stress. Permafab MAX can conform to the most difficult roof details and transitions and the material is completely moisture resistant.

Permafab MAX is available in the color white and comes in these four roll sizes:

  • 4” x 324’ roll (101.6 mm x 98.7 m) - Covers approximately 108 sq. ft.
  • (10.0 m) 6” x 324’ roll (152.4 mm x 98.7 m) - Covers approximately 162 sq. ft.
  • (15.0 m) 12” x 324’ roll (304.8 mm x 98.7 m) - Covers approximately 324 sq. ft.
  • (30.1 m) 40” x 324’ roll (1,016 mm x 98.7 m) - Covers approximately 1,080 sq. ft. (100.3 m)
