The 2026 MRCA Leadership Summit will combine business education, industry insights and networking opportunities for roofing contractors and decisionmakers in Cape Coral, Florida.

The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) is introducing a new opportunity for roofing professionals to strengthen their businesses and build industry relationships. Scheduled for November 18-19, 2026, in Cape Coral, Florida, the inaugural MRCA Leadership Summit will bring together roofing contractors, business owners and industry decisionmakers for leadership-focused education, emerging technologies and networking.

The summit's educational programming will address challenges facing roofing businesses, from operational growth and workforce well-being to economic uncertainty and cybersecurity.

Greg Bolt, president of 10X Roofing, will present "From Roofer to Founder: Scaling Smart in a Consolidating Industry." His session will explore the operational challenges that prevent roofing companies from growing, strategies for reducing owner dependency and leadership principles for developing effective teams.

Workforce well-being will also take center stage. Dr. Richard Griff of Griff Psychological Associates will lead "Beyond Physical Safety: Leadership and Mental Health on the Jobsite," examining how construction leaders can recognize warning signs, strengthen communication and support employees without assuming therapeutic responsibilities.

Richard Branch, chief economist at the American Institute of Architects, will provide an economic update for construction, drawing on nearly 30 years of experience in construction economics. Cybersecurity expert Nick Espinosa, founder of Security Fanatics, will examine the risks associated with artificial intelligence adoption, including cybersecurity vulnerabilities, insurance implications and legal considerations.

Beyond the educational sessions, attendees can explore products and services through the vendor tabletop showcase and connect with industry colleagues during a golf outing, MRCA Foundation auction and dinner and Young Contractors Council (YCC) farewell party.

The summit offers exhibitors a more personal setting to engage with roofing company leadership, emphasizing meaningful conversations and relationship-building opportunities.
