The Cool Roof Rating Council is offering free webinars on important changes coming to their bylaws and product quality assurance testing. 

As the roofing industry evolves, staying informed about crucial updates and quality assurance measures will allow you to stay ahead of the curve. The Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) is offering two free webinars this April 2024, to provide professionals the opportunity to engage with upcoming changes to the CRRC bylaws and their Random Testing program for quality assurance.  

CRRC membership webinar: Understanding the proposed 2024 CRRC bylaw changes  

Scheduled for Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Pacific time, during this one-hour webinar, CRRC staff will present an overview of the proposed changes to the CRRC bylaws that are included in the 2024 member ballot. All CRRC Members are encouraged to attend to learn more about the proposed changes and the rationale behind each change. The webinar will include Q&A and a recording of it will be made available for those who cannot attend.

CRRC licensee and labs webinar: New validation testing program 

On Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Pacific time, the CRRC will be discussing upcoming changes to the Random Testing program during this free, 90-minute webinar. Random Testing is the CRRC’s quality assurance mechanism which verifies product ratings to maintain the credibility of the Rated Roof Products Directory. Random Testing is being replaced with a new quality assurance program, Validation Testing, which will have a different set of requirements and procedures.  

CRRC licensees are encouraged to attend this webinar to learn about the program, as all licensees will need to comply with program requirements to maintain their CRRC product ratings. The webinar will include Q&A, and a recording of the presentation will be made available for those who cannot attend.
