Start 2023 Off Right in Washington State

Get a head start on your competitors by attending the first roofing tradeshow of the year in Washington! 

The Roofing Contractors Association of Washington (RCAW) trade show is fast approaching! This year’s Pacific North West Regional show is taking place January 20, 2023 at the Tulalip Casino & Resort. It is a great day for everyone in the industry — from amateurs to experts — to learn and get updated on the latest and greatest in the roofing industry. 

In a new Roofing Road Trips episode, Heidi J. Ellsworth meets with Justin Shirley, CEO and president of Achten’s Quality Roofing and president of RCAW. As a fellow board member, Heidi visits with Justin about the upcoming RCAW tradeshow.  

“We're not just roofers, we're an industry,” says Justin. “So RCAW says ‘let's build that up locally in Western Washington, throughout Eastern Washington, throughout the whole state.’ Let's build that up and let's make not only an industry, but a community of strong quality contractors. And I love that.” Justin continues, “I've only been in roofing professionally in my life and this is an industry that has served me well, has fed my family, has given me great opportunities personally and professionally. And I love when we can get together as a group of people and we're passionate about something. I live for that.” 

RCAW truly embraces the value of associations in elevating the entire profession. These opportunities to grow contractor networks are invaluable to individual contractors and the industry as a whole, as they build up the tools, resources and connections that are essential to growing the industry. 

“The nice thing about this trade show is having vendors that are nationwide, but dealing with the local representatives,” says Justin. “You're dealing with people that after you leave that trade show, you're going to be able to call, you're going to be able to set appointment, you're going to be able to meet.” 

Whether you are going to the show to learn more about marketing, materials, labor and the general industry, everyone at this show intimately knows Washington State as a market. It is a show developed by and for the professional roofing contractors of Washington state to focus on the specific issues and innovations that resonate with the Pacific Northwest. 

“RCAW is ultimately a community,” says Justin. “We're getting together... the Roofers of Washington State to do the best that they can with the best materials, with the best advertising, with the best benefits for their employees. We just want to be the best of the best.”
