Building a secure space for winning athletes and the community that supports them.

In 2015, the Louisville City (LouCity) Football Club (FC) hit the field at a part of the USL Championship, America’s second division league. Since then, this men’s soccer team has won the Championship league title in 2017 and 2018 with regular Eastern Conference appearances in the other years.

Their incredible success on the field has elevated the game of soccer in the U.S. and got them their own state-of-the-art facility, Lynn Family Sports Vision and Training Center. Built in 2020 through a collaboration between Soccer Holdings, LLC, who owns both LouCity and their sister club, Racing Louisville FC of the National Women’s Soccer League, and Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn, this facility utilizes metal products from the U.S.’s largest manufacturer of metal roof, wall and building systems – Metal Sales.

More specifically, AML Construction installed a couple different types of panels:

  • T10-D Wall: Installed in both the color dark bronze as well as old zinc grey, these steel wall panels are known for their durability. They come in both PVDF/FEVE  and Acrylic Coated Galvalume® finishes (the former was used for the Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center).
  • T10-A Wall: Used in old town grey with a PVDF finish, T-10 A metal panels are made out of a 24 gauge durable steel. These panels are manufactured in a folded design that covers 28” and utilizes exposed fasteners.

Today, the facility not only houses both clubs and their fans, but also offers a variety of resources for the community around it, including sports vision testing, youth camps, specialized therapy for concussion patients and more. Former Soccer Holdings president Brad Estes explained, “The cutting-edge technology of Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training [is] a game changer for not only our players but for athletes of all ages and crafts.”
