Liquid-applied membranes can also provide an alternative to a complete tear-off. According to Sika, these systems can often be installed over existing substrates, including concrete, metal, modified bitumen, thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM).
