KPost Roofing & Waterproofing is the May R-Club Roofer of the Month!

We speak with this Dallas-based commercial and residential contractor about how they retain customers and employees so well. 

KPost Roofing & Waterproofing has been servicing the Dallas-Fort Worth area for over 15 years and they’ve developed quite a positive reputation. Since they opened their doors in 2004, they have completed over 1200 projects, the most notable of which being the AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. We recently named KPost our May 2023 R-Club Roofer of the Month and got the chance to speak with their President, Steve Little in this podcast. 

Steve gave us a brief overview of their company’s history, highlighting the amazing fact that of the 11 people who first started there, seven of them still work there today. Today, KPost has over 400 employees and 1200 clients annually.  

When asked what their company specialty is, Steve said that they largely relieve client’s pain in obtaining quality shelter. “We really give them a path to be able to deal with one of the most important things that we all have in our lives, which is food, water and shelter,” he said. “We have the responsibility in the roofing industry to take care of the shelter.” 

In terms of retaining quality employees, Steve says it’s as simple as treating them as well as they do their customers. Safety is a top priority at KPost and they like to ensure that their workers are cared for. 

“We celebrate getting our men and women home every night. Our focus on safety for our team, our family is foremost the most important thing I think that we do,” Steve said. “When we're protecting the risk for the client, we're also making sure that the fathers and mothers and uncles and aunts and brothers and sisters get home every night and then be able to provide them an opportunity to make a living for their families.”
