Join IIBEC for Their Annual Virtual Symposium

This three-day, user-friendly virtual event will take place in late September. 

Mark your calendars for the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) 2020 Canadian Building Enclosure Symposium taking place virtually from September 22-24. The event will feature six technical presentations, which will be available after the Symposium for 31 days for all attendees. You can interact with exhibitors live and earn continuing education credits for on-demand courses.  

Everyone who purchases a ticket to the Symposium will receive detailed instructions on how to login and access the virtual show approximately a week before the event begins. For those looking to receive educational hours, you will be able choose specific sessions needed for your credits on the virtual platform. To make things even simpler, IIBEC created a video that demonstrates how to get into the virtual trade show and how to attend your desired sessions. 

Easily access the trade show on any smart device and connect with exhibitors via live chat. Similar to an in-person trade show, you will be able to choose booths that interest you and visit with or request private conversations with representatives. Each booth will also feature additional documents and videos to sift through while waiting to speak with a representative.  

While attending live educational sessions in the virtual rooms, you will be able to converse with other attendees in the room via a chat feature. The rooms in the educational portion of the event will look like auditoriums on your screen and will remain open after the live dates. While the speakers will no longer be present for a conversation, you can still contact them or request additional information by sending them a message.

The virtual platform will be extremely user-friendly and will look like a normal website. Simple links will be available to help direct you to the content that interests you. After logging in, you will be able to click on the room you need and see the session you wish to view.  

Now through September 8th, IIBEC members pay $195 USD (United States Dollars) to attend the trade show and non-members pay $249 USD. After September 8th, IIBEC members pay $220 USD and nonmembers pay $274 USD. Register now and save!
