Hearts on the Green returns to support families in need

Supporting Ronald McDonald House charities through the power of roofing.

On April 27, 2026, IB Roof Systems™ will once again bring the roofing community together for a powerful cause at the Hearts on the Green Golf Tournament in Southlake, Texas. Hosted at Timarron Country Club, this annual charity event benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities of Fort Worth, with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to support families who need housing and care while their children receive medical treatment.

Many contractors, distributors and manufacturer partners have participated in past tournaments or expressed interest in joining this spring. Now is the time to step up again by sponsoring a team, registering to golf or donating to the cause. Please also pass the invitation along to others who may want to get involved.

For over a quarter of a century, the Roofing Alliance has been a driving force behind progress and innovation in the roofing industry, tackling challenges and driving meaningful change through visionary philanthropic initiatives. Among its most impactful efforts is the long standing partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities, underscoring the Roofing Alliance’s commitment to making a difference in communities across the nation.

Since 2017, Roofing Alliance members, alongside members of the National Roofing Contractors Association, have adopted the roofs of all 165 standalone Ronald McDonald Houses in the United States. This ongoing initiative has provided critical roof system inspections, maintenance, repairs and complete replacements, with labor and materials contributed by the roofing industry valued at more than $3.5 million.

Ronald McDonald Houses serve as havens for families with ill or injured children during their most trying times, offering private rooms, communal support and a sense of connection and care. These programs enable families to stay together and focus on their child’s health without the burden of accommodation worries.

This golf outing, graciously hosted by the team at IB Roof Systems in Grapevine, Texas, will specifically benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas and the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth. Both provide a safe, warm and supportive environment where families can stay together and find strength in community during their most challenging moments.

Last year, the tournament raised and donated $50,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities in Fort Worth and Dallas. The 2026 goal is to build on that momentum and make an even greater difference for families in North Texas.

The tournament will feature 18 teams playing a scramble format with no mulligans. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams, with first place receiving $2,000, second place $1,200 and third place $800.
