Building stronger roofing conversations through connection

Building stronger roofing conversations through connection
October 12, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

By Alex Tolle.

The Roofing Authority and The Tie-In bring roofing professionals, company leaders and industry advocates together in one accessible network.

The roofing industry is built on relationships, shared experience and conversations that move the trade forward. The Roofing Authority provides a dedicated online presence for those connections, while The Tie-In expands the conversation by featuring people connected to roofing and the broader industry community.

The center of the Roofing Authority is John Kiesel, Steve Reiss & Ryan Resides whose industry experience includes Division 7 Roofing. Together, these names connect an active roofing professional with a platform focused on the people and organizations that make up the trade.

The Tie-In is an important part of that platform. Through guest conversations, it gives listeners an opportunity to become more familiar with the professionals working in and alongside roofing. The program’s guest-focused format also creates space for discussions involving different perspectives from across the industry.

RoofersCoffeeShop®’s own Karen Edwards, chief operating officer of The Coffee Shops™, recently joined John Kiesel as a guest on The Tie-In. During the conversation, Karen discussed the relationships that have supported her career, the value of sharing education in formats that fit different learning preferences and the importance of getting involved in the roofing community. “Just be there. Show up,” Karen said, emphasizing that lasting professional relationships are built through consistent participation in industry associations, meetings, events and volunteer opportunities.

By connecting John Kiesel, Division 7 Roofing, industry guests and listeners, the Roofing Authority and The Tie-In offer a place for roofing-centered conversations. The result is a platform that keeps attention on the individuals, businesses and relationships shaping the industry.
