Bitec Showcasing Its Coating Lines at IRE

Bitec Showcasing Coating Lines
February 9, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.

See the company’s latest solutions in booth 2501 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.

With the International Roofing Expo (IRE) right around the corner, it is time to start making plans for the booths that you will want to visit while in Dallas.  A long-term company that is always in attendance at the national show is Bitec, Inc.

Last year Bitec announced the expansion of their line of white, reflective restoration coatings.  With the high demand for roof coatings from the roofing community, Bitec added to their product offering by providing four distinct premium Imper-Sol™ coating lines, adding rubber and silicone products to its existing elastomeric coatings.

“Bitec has been in elastomeric coatings for many years now, but we decided to expand last year to include rubberized coatings and the silicone products, as well as accessories,” explained Joel Sheely, Bitec VP of Operations. “We like to call them preservation products and we have seen substantial demand in the product line over the last year.”

The new high-performance coatings - Imper-Sol SI Silicone, Imper-Sol EB All-in-One, Imper-Sol AC Acrylics, and Imper-Sol EB EP - offer excellent waterproofing and UV resistance and can be applied over multiple types of roof substrates. The coatings are single-component and can be applied by brush, roller, or spray, making installation quick and easy.  Additionally, the Imper-Sol line of coatings provides customers with a sustainable option for extending the life of their roof system by eliminating the need for a full tear-off and replacement.

A specific product to check out include Imper-Sol™ AC Premium a CRRC-rated, white acrylic roof coating that can reduce roof temperatures by 50° - 80°.  The fire-retardant roof coating is formulated from water-based, pure acrylic, self-curing latex polymers. It is an elastomeric coating, also contains unique bleed blocking polymers that eliminates the need for a coating primer.  Designed for application by brush, roller or spray, once cured, Imper-Sol AC Premium preserves roof surfaces and reduces under roof temperatures to create a more pleasant interior work environment that is less costly to maintain.

Be sure to visit Bitec at booth 2501 at the upcoming International Roofing Expo in Dallas to see these products and everything else that is new.
