Award-winning Project Designed to Sell

apex roofing - mra - texas project - 2023
June 24, 2023 at 6:00 a.m.

By Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA).

New metal roof appeals to potential buyers, maximizes value for Texas home.

The project

APEX Roofing was selected as a winner by MetalCoffeeShop™ recently for replacing a metal roof on a home located in Harker Heights, Texas. The owner was getting the home ready to sell and wanted to maximize its value with a beautiful new metal roof.

The challenge

The 6,000 square foot home was a diamond in the rough that needed some updated curb appeal and performance features that would help the home withstand the harsh storms the area recieves. The previous roof had been damanged by hail and the new dark bronze meal roof manufactured by Berringer not only increases the home's reliability, it makes a strong statement.

"We had an opportunity to make a beautiful home even more beautiful and I believe we succeeded," said Adam Murrell, APEX Roofing general manager.

APEX Roofing was able to complete the job in just four days, overcoming challenges presented by the low slope of the roof by adding winter guard underlayment. They also provided quality installation expertise that will aid in the ongoing performance and reliability of the roof, such as changing it from non-straited to straited to help protect against regional climate conditions.

Spotlight on APEX Roofing

Located in Georgetown, Texas, APEX Roofing is just over seven years old and services customers from Temple, Texas down to Buda, Texas. The company's second location in Marble Falls now proudly services Hill Country.

"APEX Roofing continues to be a pioneer in Central Texas by responding to customer's roofing needs, developing new departments and expanding our workmanship offerings. The metal teams and our luxury division are both examples of that," said Jen Forgey, APEX Roofing VP of Business Development.
