Ellsworth visits with National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) Director of Workforce Development John Esbenshade and NRCA Recruiter and Entrepreneur Rick Damato about the roofing industry initiative for Career Technical Education (CTE) and the upcoming SkillsUSA 2024. They talk about the NRCA commitment to encouraging roofing in vocational and trade schools. At the heart of the current CTE program is SkillsUSA where vocational students compete yearly in trade competitions. For the second year, SkillsUSA will include a roofing competition sponsored by the NRCA, the Roofing Alliance and many industry supporters.
