The Southwest Florida Roofing Contractors Association (SWFRCA) is a nonprofit trade association that supports roofing contractors and industry-related companies to encourage high standards of business ethics among members and maintain a communication outlet for local, regional and national changes in the industry. SWFRCA is an affiliate member of the Florida Roofing Contractors Association and has served Collier, Lee and Charlotte Counties since 1979.
The purpose of the SWFRCA is to cultivate and support a high standard of business practices among members and educate the public of the importance of doing business with competent and licensed roofing contractors. The organization strives to improve and raise awareness of the industry through networking, exchange of ideas, community volunteerism and charitable support as well as lobbying local and state government and regulatory agencies.
Contractor members must be a licensed roofing contractor in the State of Florida residing in Lee, Charlotte or Collier County for a minimum of one year, having maintained and operated an established roofing business for that same period. Associate membership is also available to individuals, firms or corporations engaged in the manufacturing, sales or distribution of roofing industry supplies and/or business services.
All members must abide by the SWFRCA ethical code and association by-laws. SWFRCA works continuously to develop and maintain a functional relationship with local regulatory and governmental agencies.
