Work smarter not harder with artificial intelligence

Join Heidi J. Ellsworth in a recent episode of Roofing Road Trips® as she sits down with Danny Braught from LMH Agency. From improving local leads and web design to incorporating AI into your business, he walks us through his entrepreneurial story and how LMH Agency can help contractors take their online business to the next level. 

LMH Agency began in 2014, but over the last two years Danny explains, “We really specialize in home service contractors, taking them to the next level of marketing through local SEO, paid ads as well as programmatic CTV and then website design and development. We’re making sure that [contractors are] in the right places to get those leads when people are looking for them online.” 

Danny is all about using technology as a tool to improve your business as much as possible. He sees AI as playing two roles in the roofing industry. First, it’s through different tools like drone technology that gather measurements and analyze homes, but secondly, there is a marketing aspect as well. He explains, “Whether it’s their sales plan, their marketing plan, building out a new brochure, they can take information, put it into ChatGPT and then mold the information that’s given back to them into a marketing piece, without having to spend agonizing hours trying to figure out if the copy’s right. These tools make a huge difference across the industry.”  

The overarching fear of technological advancement is that it is going to take over the human role in that same position. Danny counters, “Most people think that it’s going to replace your job. Well, learn how to work with AI instead of working against it. It makes it so that you’re more valuable because you understand how to use the AI to be more efficient, because then you’re able to get more stuff done.”
