Who’s the Fastest Roofer of Them All?

RoofLine Supply and Delivery recently hosted their annual Fastest Roofer competition. 

Who can install and disassemble a roof the fastest? To find the fastest roofer, RoofLine Supply and Delivery, a part of the SRS Distribution family, sought out multiple roofers in the central Oregon area for their second annual Fastest Roofer competition. They held the competition at their southeast Bend facility where multiple local roofing companies competed to see who was the fastest roofer of them all. 

For the competition, RoofLine had roofers build a take a mock roof apart, judging them on who could do so the fastest. Iden Asato, RoofLine’s branch director said the contestants had a certain amount of square feet they had to install and take off for the chance to win a cash prize. But they didn’t just hold the competition to see who the fastest roofer was. 

"We're holding this because we want to show our customers and clients that we really appreciate them," Iden Asato told KTZV. “My favorite part about this is interacting with our contractors. They're bringing their families, wives and kids, and I just love interacting with them." 

Hundreds attended the event, including multiple industry vendors. Pig Out BBQ Catering provided a free barbecue lunch for the guests, including two whole pigs! A representative from Gutterglove even set up a golf putting course. 

The competition ran for over eight hours with multiple rounds. Third place for the competition received $1,000, second place received $2,000 and the first place faster roofer received $3,000.
