Tour Our Nation’s Capital Monuments by Foot!

See some of the greatest landmarks in Washington, D.C. on an architectural walking tour with the Durable Slate Company   

If you’re going to be in Washington, D.C. for National Roofing Day, you will not want to miss the walking tour of our nation’s most historical monuments. This free event will take you on a tour of all the must-see attractions including the United States Capitol, the Library of Congress Jefferson building, The United States Supreme Court building, the Smithsonian Arts and Industries building, the Smithsonian castle, the National Gallery of Art building and more! The tour will specifically be discussing the building’s architectural history and the materials used to build the structures.  

Although this is a free walking tour, there are only 30 spots available so snag a spot before they all fill up! The meeting spot is at the Mall entrance of the Arts and Industries Museum. The meetup time is 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 20.
