While not required, when used in conjunction with a Van Mark brake, the TAG allows you to fabricate your own custom formed gutter hood out of basic trim coil or gutter coil, which as we all know is relatively inexpensive and readily available at a moment’s notice. Designed to quickly shape a consistent gutter hood profile that can be adapted to almost any roof pitch, in standard 48” sections but also allow for up to 50” lengths to allow for overlap. This also makes for an easy one-person installation! 

The complete TAG system is more than just the Trim-A-Gutter tool itself; we also offer optional specialized gutter clips for secure mounting of the hoods to existing gutters. Or when being used with new gutter installations, we offer 5” & 6” K style heavy-duty aluminum extruded gutter brackets that provide a solid mount for the gutters along with a mounting point for the custom hoods.
