Still Flashing TPO in the Field? Think Prefabricated Flashings

Time to give your business a boost by switching to prefabricated flashings.

We’ve done the time study to show you that prefabricated flashings take about half as much time as flashing in the field.  We know that there is a labor shortage and skilled labor is getting harder and harder to find. It only makes sense to give your crews the tools and materials that will help them work more efficiently, be able accomplish more on the job and to even complete more jobs in one day.

We understand that change can be hard. If you’ve done something the same way for many years, implementing a new process, a new tool, or a new product can be scary. You might think that having to learn something new is going to take you longer and make you slower, but in the end, the time taken to implement that change will be paid back many times over in improved efficiencies.

It’s time to take a step back and evaluate ways to run your crews and business more efficiently. That starts with shifting the way you think about roofing materials and accessories. Advances in software, products and accessories have introduced new materials that are faster and easier to install (think peel and stick products). Also faster and easier to install are prefabricated flashings.

They perform better too. Because they are made in a controlled environment from reinforced TPO, they provide better protection for the critical penetrations points on the roof. In ten years of manufacturing Acme Cone Company standard and custom flashing, we’ve had zero failures.

Give it a try. Your crews will be happier that they no longer have to flash in the field, fighting the elements to cut membrane, your building owners will be happier with no leaks at penetration points and you will be happier with lower labor costs on each project.

Tell us what you think of Acme Cone by taking our brand survey and we’ll give you a $5 gift card as a thank you.
