By Marco Industries.
The show covers much more than metal roofing, and it provides invaluable information as well as access to top manufacturers (like your friends here at Marco Industries) that are definitely applicable to your work with metal roofs.
Held in Pittsburgh, October 16-18, this year’s event will feature two of the city’s most famous sports icons as keynote speakers. Rocky Bleier, the four-time NFL Superbowl Champion and running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers will inspire with his message of determination and leadership. Bleier was drafted by the U.S. Army to fight in Vietnam just one year after entering the NFL and was seriously wounded. Told he would never walk again, the former Steeler bravely rehabilitated himself to condition for re-entry into the NFL and, overcoming all odds, regained his running back position.
Seven-time Stanley Cup winner, Bryan Trottier, will also speak at the event. Named as one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players of all time, Trottier will share how he came from humble beginnings and overcame bullying, discrimination, racism and more. His talk, “Finding Strength in Teamwork and Diversity” will be a highlight of the show.
Of course, Marco will be sending its own team of all-stars to METALCON, too. While they may not have Hall of Fame NFL or NHL stories, they’ll have expert insights and advice on how to provide your customers with the most durable, most efficient metal roofing available.
Drop by booth 746 to speak with Marco owner Blake Atkins, company president Neil Westgarth, or other Marco team members including Barry Broxterman, Brad Kerin, Art Henderson, George Allaster, Aaron Carpenter, Ricki Boyenko, David Lorenz and Linsdey Goodsell. Each will be spending time in the Marco booth to speak to roofing professionals, answer questions, and share the full portfolio of tried-and-tested Marco solutions.
METALCON is the only annual tradeshow and conference devoted entirely to the application of metal in industrial, institutional, light commercial and residential projects. Marco is the only company in the metal roofing industry to manufacture non-woven material in-house for the patented LP2™ ridge vent and other solutions in the exclusive Weather-Tite™ System. Go see both this month in Pittsburgh!
