Roofing Contractors Association of Washington Has Some Fun Summer Plans

Members look forward to a summer of golf and fishing to generate funds to support the RCAW. 

The Roofing Contractors Association of Washington (RCAW) knows how to do summer right! The association has cooked up some fabulous plans for fun in the sun, from golf tournaments to salmon derby’s, RCAW promises a season of fun events that help support the organization. Check out these summer events full of prizes, festivities and good old-fashioned sport and grab your tickets to participate! 

Salmon derby 

July 28, 2021 marks the 7th annual Salmon Derby. This fun event was dreamt up about six years ago to add value added programs and help with their safety advantage program. Now, post-COVID, the 2021 Derby promises to be bigger and better than ever. Expect raffle prizes, a best photo contest, live entertainment at the dock and a catered lunch, all of which is included in your Derby ticket.  

The RCAW invites you the Point Defiance Marina to get your fish on! First place takes home not only the biggest fish, but wins $1,000, bragging rights and the opportunity to drink a beer from the Derby Cup.

RCAW Open annual golf tournament 

RCAW’s most exciting and competitive event of the year is back again! The RCAW Open annual golf tournament is set to take place on August 27 at the Auburn Golf Center. The tournament will feature a couple of hole-in-one contests and games of skill. Plus, LPGA golfer and Dixon Golf will be on hand. 

Bragging rights and a trophy are on the line, in addition to a whole lot of prizes. You won’t want to miss out on what the hole sponsors have planned for the 18-holes in this scramble.
