Prefabricated Flashings Deliver Higher Quality than Those Made in the Field

Contractors need to consider all the advantages that come with using prefabricated flashings rather than field-made ones.

Flashing in the field, on the jobsite, can run the risk of faulty seams, transfer of dirt and can actually add to time spent on the roof because of having to deal with cleanup and scraps.

Acme Cone provides flashings that are pre-made in a controlled, precision, factory environment. These prefabricated flashings feature better seams leading to better performance and provide a cleaner, easier installation for crews on the job.

Product quality is of utmost importance to the team at Acme Cone and they show it by welding each flashing by hand instead of relying on dielectric thermoplastic welding technology. A precision cutting CNC is used to process the rolls of membrane which means that the flashings are accurate down to a 16th of an inch to ensure the best possible fit. Each flashing is of the highest quality and offers the most waterproof protection available.

Contractors agree. Sean Weeks of Centimark Boise said, “I have been using custom pipe and curb flashing from ACME Cone for years.  They create specialty items for us that speed up production.  They deliver on time and they produce the highest quality flashings.  Our jobs are more profitable by saving time and our customers are impressed with the final result.”
