When homeowners ask for the timeless elegance of wood shake, contractors need options that deliver beauty and performance. To meet this need, Owens Corning® is relaunching the Woodcrest® & Woodmoor® shingle collection in the Western and Mountain regions of the U.S. This premium shingle collection is specially engineered with a rugged shape and more color options than natural wood to provide a dramatic, dimensional appearance for added curb appeal.
Key benefits of Woodcrest® & Woodmoor® shingles include:
Whether a job calls for warm, subtle charm or dramatic, standout depth, the Woodcrest® & Woodmoor® shingle collection offers premium options to elevate any roof design.
The textured cut of Woodcrest® Shingles offers a rugged, shake-inspired feel with rich color options. Woodmoor® Shingles, with added granules and layered detailing, feature an extra-thick design that mimics hand-split shake and adds bolder texture and a more dramatic shadow line to any roof.
Both shingle lines are available in a range of nature-inspired colors including Carbon, Granite, Sycamore, Chestnut, Mesquite and Timber — making it easy to match any architectural style. In California, the COOL Roof Collection offers three colors — Mountainside, Night Sky and Sand Castle — each engineered with a precise blend of solar-reflective granules to help comply with the Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) requirements of Title 24, Part 6.
New Signature Collections offer curated palettes and refined design pairings that showcase the rugged beauty of Woodcrest® and Woodmoor® shingles. Each collection is crafted to inspire and help bring every homeowner’s vision to life.
Woodcrest® & Woodmoor® shingles are part of the Owens Corning® Total Protection Roofing System®^ and work with other components to support long-term performance. DecoRidge® Hip & Ridge shingles deliver refined dimension and lasting durability with their thick, bull-nosed profile — enhancing curb appeal with every detail. ImpactRidge® Hip & Ridge shingles are made with a proprietary blend of SBS polymer modified asphalt and gives them greater flexibility than standard shingles to complete a UL 2218 Class 4 Impact Resistant Roofing System5. Paired with WoodStart® Starter Strip Shingle, engineered for a clean, secure foundation, these components work together to help you deliver a complete portfolio of products for a roof that’s both visually striking and built to withstand the elements.
