One of the most widely recognized technical publications in the roofing industry, the NRCA Roofing Manual has been updated to include The NRCA Roofing Manual: Membrane Roof Systems—2019!

This manual makes an excellent addition to your technical library and is reliable reference material for state roofing contract licensure exams.

The updated NRCA Roofing Manual contains the following four manuals:

The NRCA Roofing Manual: Membrane Roof Systems—2019

The 2019 manual provides best industry practices and technical information about the design, materials and installation techniques applicable to membrane roof systems used in low-slope roof system applications. The manual includes information about roof decks, air and vapor retarders, rigid board insulation, roof membranes, fasteners, surfacing, accessories, roof system configurations and roof re-coverings. This latest edition has a new format that assists with proper product and material selection. Users initially can reference the first chapter, which contains a selection of roof system configurations. Each of the configurations has a list of applicable roof components along with references explaining where to find additional information in the manual. Also included are 205 construction details for built-up roof (BUR) membrane, polymer-modified bitumen, liquid-applied, EPDM and other single-ply membrane roof systems.

The NRCA Roofing Manual: Architectural Metal Flashing and Condensation and Air Leakage Control—2018

The 2018 manual contains information about the design, materials and installation techniques applicable to architectural sheet-metal components and includes 60 construction details. In addition, the manual provides background information regarding moisture and air leakage issues in buildings such as ventilation for steep-slope roof assemblies and condensation control for low-slope roof systems. The appendixes include information about climatic design, considerations for lighting-protection systems and NRCA's technical directory.

The NRCA Roofing Manual: Steep-slope Roof Systems—2017

The latest volume of the NRCA Roofing Manual provides you with comprehensive information about the design, materials and installation techniques applicable to steep-slope roofing applications. With five complete sections—Asphalt Shingle Roof Systems, Clay and Concrete Roof Systems, Metal Shingle Roof Systems, Slate Roof Systems, and Wood Shake and Wood Shingle Roof Systems—this manual is a welcome addition to your technical library.

Each section includes information about roof decks, underlayments, materials, design and installation. Construction details are provided in each section as follows:
