By Anna Lockhart.

Midwestern contractors won’t want to miss out on this extraordinary event featuring networking, educational and training opportunities!

In a recent episode of the Roofing Road Trips podcast, the Midwest Roofing Contractors Association’s Managing Director Rachel Pinkus, President Bill Seibert and Vice President Robert Poutre shared exciting insights about what attendees can expect from this year’s annual conference and expo. The event, the Midwest Roofing Contractors Assocation’s (MRCA) 73rd Annual Conference and Expo, will take place October 18-20, 2023, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Bill shared that the goal of the MRCA is to provide educational opportunities, training and to keep an eye out for local roofing contractors. “The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association prides itself on being the roofing contractors' advocate,” he explained. “Those of us in the roofing industry understand that we put a lot on the line day in and day out, no matter what we're doing, whether it's our employees or our equipment, our trucks, anything we got going on out there, we need somebody looking out for us and the MRCA is the firm that helps do that.”

The upcoming conference in October is an exciting opportunity for members of the MRCA and general attendees to network, learn and have fun. Robert shared that the two-day conference will be action packed, full of fun events. One such event for attendees to get excited about is the casino night!

“My favorite event has to be the Young Contractor’s Council’s Casino Night,” said Robert. “It brings all of the contractors, associate members, and anyone that's anyone that wants to have fun. It's for such a great cause." All money raised from the casino night, hosted on Wednesday October 18, will benefit the MRCA Foundation and the Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy.

In addition to the fun-filled parties and fundraisers, the 73rd Annual Conference and Expo will also feature incredible keynote speakers and super sessions for attendees to participate in. Rachel shared, “I like the fact that we really try to have something there for everybody. I think we've done an excellent job of really making not only the commercial roofing contractors feel like they have a home, but also our steep-slope contractors.”
