MB Technology Adds Additional Standard Color to its Line of Cap Sheets

The company added the additional standard color due to the increased demand for red cap sheet.

MB Technology, a leading manufacturer of affordable, premium roofing and underlayment systems, has added red as a standard color to its line of Ecotorch® SBS and Supercap SBS roofing membranes. The move was made to accommodate the increased demand for the color and the red color will be a standard, in-stock item with no special order required.

Ecotorch® is an innovative torch-applied membrane that truly contributes to the environment. Incorporating recycled tires into SBS modified bitumen, Ecotorch is a more durable, dependable, and eco-friendly roofing membrane than APP modified bitumen membranes.

Supercap SBS is an SBS modified asphalt mineral surfaced roll roofing membrane. Supercap is reinforced with a fiberglass mat and fire rated. SBS is a synthetic rubber that gives asphalt enhanced performance characteristics. SBS modified membranes exhibit high multi-directional strength and excellent cold temperature flexibility in addition to elongation and recall properties far superior to traditional asphalt roofing membranes. These outstanding properties provide supercap SBS with excellent resistance to “thermal shock,” a major contributor to roof failure.
