Piers Dormeyer shares updates on what’s new with Eagleview this month! 

There’s always new technology and tools coming out that can make your work as a contractor easier, and Eagleview has long been at the forefront of these types of innovations when it comes to imaging and measuring solutions. Recently, Piers Dormeyer, the CEO of Eagleview, sat down for a quick Q&A about what we’ve been working on recently.  

Piers has over a decade of experience with Eagleview and holds a bachelor's degree from the College of Engineering at the University of Florida and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. This background has fueled his passion for technology and makes him the perfect person to learn about Eagleview’s recent growth and developments.  

What should we be looking forward to from Eagleview this month?  

This month, we’re introducing Eagleview One™, a platform shaped by decades of listening to and working alongside our customers. It's more than a product launch; it's the result of deep, ongoing relationships with roofers across the country who’ve helped us understand exactly what they need to succeed. Eagleview One brings that vision to life: a centralized, modern hub for roof data, 3D visualization and on-demand property intelligence all wrapped in a subscription model that fits how roofers actually operate.  

How will these developments impact today’s roofing professional?  

Everything about Eagleview One is built around the roofer’s day-to-day reality. We heard loud and clear that roofers need speed, accuracy and simplicity, and we delivered. With Eagleview One, you can access 3D views, precise measurements and custom reports all in one place. It helps you quote faster, plan smarter and reduce rework. This is what happens when you build with the customer, not just for them. 

What is the most immediate application for Eagleview One?  

Right now, Eagleview One is built to spec for roofers. You can order data for any property, explore it online in 3D and generate tailored reports by selecting individual facets instantly. It is designed to make the bidding process faster, more accurate and more competitive without requiring a site visit. This is the power of putting trusted data and visual context directly in your hands and our high-fidelity roof data means you can calculate materials, reduce waste and hit margins with confidence. How is this possible? Well, we start with world-class imagery that we capture. We don’t outsource it. Better imagery means better data and better outcomes.  

Can you share how the 3D models work and why they are important?  

The 3D models give you the full picture, literally. You can zoom in on individual facets, inspect slope and pitch and toggle between current and historical imagery. This kind of visibility used to require boots on the roof. Now, you get that same or more detailed insight in minutes. It gives roofers the confidence to plan and price jobs right the first time.  

What kind of support and training will be available for roofing professionals looking to use this new program?  

We know that change only works when it is supported. That is why we are offering live office hours, personalized onboarding and a growing library of demos and how-tos. Whether you are new to Eagleview or a long-time customer, we are committed to making sure you are set up to succeed from day one.  

What comes next after this launch?  

This launch is just the starting line. We are committed to continuously adding value to Eagleview One, starting later this summer. Eagleview One will expand to include all measurements, property data including condition of assets and change detection, drone inspections and access to our best imagery.  Roofing contractors will also have access to Eagleview’s DRP, our best-in-class, post-catastrophe capture program. As always, every feature we add is held to the same standard of accuracy our customers expect. We are building a platform that grows with you, continually shaped by customer feedback, evolving needs and the same trusted partnership we have had with the industry for years.
