Have You Seen the Duro-Last® Designer Series Lately?

Duro-Last Designer Series

By Roseann George, Director of Procurement, Duro-Last.

Technological advances have allowed for development of new patterns for an even more realistic appearance.

Our Designer Series products, including Rock-Ply®and Shingle-Ply®membrane options, were developed for roofing projects where building appearance is important, but conventional shingles or roofing ballast may not be practical.

While these unique membranes have proven to be a popular solution for a variety of roofing applications, technology advances created an opportunity for us to update our standard printed patterns. Over the past year, the Purchasing Department at Duro-Last has worked closely with internal teams and our vendors to develop and implement new patterns for each of the Designer Series membranes, which now provide a more realistic finished look.

Available in 50 mil Duro-Last membrane roll goods, both Rock-Ply and Shingle-Ply membranes feature a strong 18×14 weft-inserted anti-wicking scrim, a performance layer of 21 mils above the scrim, and a special polymer coating to help protect the printed finish. Additionally, a complete line of custom-fabricated accessories is available for Designer Series membranes, further improving finished aesthetics and installation efficiency.

Also included in our Designer Series solutions is the Duro-Last Vinyl Rib System. This roofing solution is ideal for applications that need the aesthetic appeal of a traditional architectural standing seam system while still providing the proven watertight integrity of single-ply applications. The Vinyl Rib System features separate vinyl ribs, available in a variety of colors, which are attached to an adhered Duro-Last membrane.

To learn more about our complete line of Designer Series Roofing Systems, visit www.duro-last.com/designer to download product specifications and request samples of our newly updated printed membranes.
