Going above and beyond with new metal equipment

MetalForming is expanding its equipment portfolio with new roll forming and architectural fabrication solutions designed to meet growing demand. 

As metal construction continues to grow across the industry, manufacturers and contractors are looking for equipment that can meet their expanding operational visions. MetalForming is responding to that demand by adding new roll forming and architectural fabrication solutions to its product portfolio. 

In this Read Listen Watch® (RLW), Karen Edwards spoke with MetalForming’s President and CEO Stephen Gosk and Business Development Director Chad Rowe about two of the company’s newest offerings: the VIETSTEEL roll former line and the Schröder architectural shear and folding systems. 

“At MetalForming, we really do three things: we fold, we do coil processing and we roll form,” Stephen explained. “So, when we go out into the market and look for additional lines, we look for lines naturally that have synergy with what we do.” 

According to Chad, the addition of VIETSTEEL equipment reflects both growing market demand and MetalForming’s goal of offering complete production solutions. “The roll forming industry as a whole across North America has a huge growth potential and is slated to continue to grow for the next 15 years,” Chad stated. “MetalForming has always been a company that's looking for total solutions, and this has been a piece that's been missing from our portfolio.” 

The VIETSTEEL line offers equipment options for both emerging and established contractors. Entry-level systems can help new businesses launch fabrication capabilities, while more advanced machines provide automated, high-speed production. 

MetalForming has worked with the Schröder brand for about 10 years, and it remains the flagship brand in the precision industrial fabrication space. The new PowerBend Architectural (PBA) system brings advanced capabilities to contractors who need greater flexibility and efficiency.  

“The biggest way that this is going to separate from other machines in the market is the fact that it offers a higher degree of safety with more throughput. Usually those two oppose each other,” Stephen stated. “It has some unique benefits for those who need to go above and beyond.” 

Together, these new offerings show MetalForming’s commitment to providing high-quality products that help customers expand to perform a wider range of metal construction projects.
