Finding the Perfect Tile Substitute When the Original Can't be Found

All Points Tile Substitutes

By Cayden Wemple.

All Points Tile and Slate can answer any of your burning questions when you need to find a roof tile substitute.

If you’re trying to find the right tile substitute to complement existing roof tiles, All Points Tile and Slate is here to help. It’s always recommended that you should keep the original tile on your roof, but All Points Tile and Slate has a wide array of tiles that might be perfect for your roofing project. If your tiles are in need of minor repairs, there are several options that would fit the color and price range that you are looking for. You can find these options on their website. There is also an array of options for when you can no longer obtain the original tile.

Slope replacement

This process replaces the tile on the slope of a roof with a rooftile that looks similar to the existing tile that is on the roof.

Slope replacement with harvest

Like the regular slope replacement, you would replace the whole slope of a roof with a tile that resembles  the shape and color that is on the rest of the roof. Afterwards, you would harvest (pull) the old tiles that had been pulled from the slope and use them to spot repair around the rest of the roof.

Harvest option

The harvest option would keep all the visible tile on the roof the exact same color. You will want to harvest the tiles from a part of the roof that is not generally visible. This is usually the back side of the roof or in a dead valley. Then you can use those tiles on parts of the roof that are highly visible. Replacement tiles that were purchased would then be used to cover the parts that were harvested from.

Disposing of the old and excess tiles is easier than ever, as All Points might be able to schedule a complimentary pick up so you can avoid dumping costs.
