Connecting jobsite photos to business workflows

Connecting jobsite photos to business workflows
August 19, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.

By Jesse Sanchez.

The new CompanyCam integration brings project photos into ContractorHUB while laying the groundwork for AI-powered automation.

ContractorHUB has introduced a CompanyCam integration designed to bring jobsite documentation into the same system contractors use to manage leads, projects and other business information. Once a CompanyCam account is connected, project photos are automatically imported into ContractorHUB. Images are organized by date and by the team member who captured them, allowing users to review job progress without moving between platforms. Photos can also be viewed, downloaded and managed directly within the corresponding project record.

The integration also addresses CompanyCam projects that do not already match a lead or project in ContractorHUB. When an unmatched project is identified, users can link it to an existing lead or project, create a new lead using information from CompanyCam or ignore projects that are no longer needed.

By connecting field documentation with project records, ContractorHUB says the integration can help contractors reduce duplicate data entry, keep documentation organized and give office and field teams access to the same information. It can also help identify unmatched projects before they are overlooked.

The integration is intended to support additional artificial intelligence (AI)-powered capabilities in the future. ContractorHUB says upcoming functionality will allow tags and events captured in CompanyCam to trigger workflows within its platform. Potential applications include creating invoices when projects are marked complete, updating production workflows, validating project information and launching customer communications.

Rather than treating photos only as records of completed work, the integration is designed to make jobsite information part of contractors’ broader operational processes. By connecting documentation with project activity, ContractorHUB aims to help teams turn information captured in the field into more coordinated business actions across the organization.
