Climbing the "Vertical Road Race" Once Again

Team Todd Completes the "Vertical Road Race" for Lung Cancer

Employees and their families laced up their shoes for the fourth year in a row to participate in the Fight for Air Climb event in memory of a co-worker who died in August 2014 after a long battle with lung cancer.

A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply's team, Team Todd, named for their co-worker, climbed 31 floors/680 steps to the top of Oakbrook Terrace Tower in Oakbrook, IL raising $10,568 - over $40,000 in 4 years - and earning top team fundraising award as well as awareness for lung cancer & other breathing issues.

"This event is a great way to bring everyone together to celebrate Todd, raise money for an amazing cause, and give back to our community," states Carm Termini, Marketing Director.
