Catching up With A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply at FRSA 2023!

A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply distributor, Nicholas Camardo, shared his experience working with contractors and the exciting news about upcoming projects the brand has in store for this year!  

At the Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association (FRSA) conference this past July, Karen Edwards from RoofersCoffeeShop® and Nicholas Camardo from A.C.T. Metal Deck Supply were able to sit down and discuss his work with A.C.T. and how they’re helping their customers get the products and service they deserve.  

“We help commercial re-roofers when the metal deck underneath the roof is rusted or needs to be replaced. And at that point, they need it immediately because they don’t know [how rotted] it is until you’ve torn it off,” Nicholas shared. “It’s like a cavity in a tooth – you don’t know how rotted it is until you start drilling and then get to that point and realize, ‘Oh, I needed [materials] yesterday.’” 

To meet these fast-paced and ever-changing demands, A.C.T. has fifteen different locations across the country with a full inventory of metal roof decks, precut and ready for pickup or shipment anywhere in the country. The team at A.C.T. takes pride in being a resource for contractors, to not only provide them with metal deck, but also provide efficient, quick and reliable service.  

Nicholas shared the exciting news that the company will be adding a second Florida location, in addition to their Jacksonville location, which will be opening in Orlando this coming September. They hope to better serve their Florida customers with this second location as the state sees a lot of harsh weather conditions and the results of Mother Nature’s destructive tendencies.
