Bringing contractor operations to mobile

Bringing contractor operations to mobile
October 1, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.

By Jesse Sanchez.

New native iOS and Android apps give home services contractors access to jobs, customers, schedules, proposals and other everyday tools from the field.

ContractorHUB has expanded its mobile capabilities with native apps for iOS and Android, giving home services contractors a phone-first way to manage work away from the office. Previously, mobile users accessed ContractorHUB through its web app in a mobile browser. The new apps are designed specifically for phones and iPads, with layouts, shortcuts and features centered on the work sales representatives, production leaders and company owners handle in the field.

Among the new mobile capabilities are meeting recording and transcription, call and text from within the app, route planning and proposal presentation. Users can also access home-screen widgets that provide shortcuts to common actions.

The apps provide a dashboard showing overdue work, items due that day and upcoming responsibilities. From there, users can access assigned jobs along with associated tasks, crews, schedules, photos, documents, measurements, checklists and estimates. Contractors can also capture progress photos, log customer communications, complete punch-list checklists and collect in-person digital signatures on iPad.

Additional tools support measurements, time tracking, fleet management and task management. Users can create roof and exterior measurement reports, work offline and sync information when service returns. Time-tracking features include GPS stamping, crew clock management and optional arrival reminders.

Fuel-management tools allow users to log fill-ups by scanning pump codes and receipts, while task tools make it possible to search, filter, create and edit assignments from the field. Push notifications can also alert users when jobs or tasks are assigned or when meeting transcripts are ready.

ContractorHUB said the native apps are intended to extend its operating platform to the places where contractors spend much of their day on the road, at customer properties and on jobsites.
