Associations are the Heartbeat of our Industry

NRCA Associations
March 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.

By Karen L. Edwards, RCS Editor.

March’s editorial focus is on associations so let’s talk about why you should be a member!

Here at RCS, we are huge supporters of associations and have partnerships with almost every one of them to help share their news and educational opportunities. There are many regional and state roofing associations and we highly recommend that you become a member. You can find a listing of associations throughout the country on our website here.

While local and regional associations provide you with many benefits, it’s also important to consider joining the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA). Here are five reasons why:

  1. NRCA is affordable. They now offer a cost-effective option to pay membership dues monthly. Your NRCA membership can cost less than your monthly phone bill!
  2. NRCA represents contractors of all types and sizes and has dozens of resources for residential roofing contractors, including publications, marketing resources, education and more!
  3. NRCA is helping professionalize the roofing industry workforce with its national certification initiative, NRCA ProCertification™. Three certifications have launched in English and Spanish.
  4. NRCA represents your interests in Washington, D.C., and lobbies to protect your business. For example, Roofing Day in D.C. 2019 is an industrywide advocacy event designed to enhance the roofing industry's image and expand its influence on policymaking in Washington, D.C.
  5. As an NRCA member, you receive free electronic access to 500+ popular resources in the NRCA Bookstore!

Take the next step and prepare your company for new levels of success—join NRCA today!

Get more information about NRCA membership or contact NRCA at (800) 323-9545 or membership@nrca.net.

NRCA is one of the construction industry's most respected trade associations and the voice of roofing professionals and leading authority in the roofing industry for information, education, technology and advocacy. It represents all segments of the roofing industry, including contractors; manufacturers; distributors; architects; consultants; engineers; building owners; and city, state and government agencies. NRCA's mission is to inform and assist the roofing industry, act as its principal advocate and help members in serving their customers. NRCA continually strives to enhance every aspect of the roofing industry. For information about NRCA and its services and offerings, visit www.nrca.net.
