QUESTION #2 - Could more contemporary looking vents be used as an up-sell?
- Oh, that's a hell yes. Perfect example...most homeowners prefer shingle over ridge vent rather than the aluminum ones because it looks better. Omni sells of 30 ft roll plastic.
- Yes, even if it's just painted to match!
- I don't think so, nobody cares about vents, for the most part people as long as they don't leak!
- More functional vents would be a great up sell. More NFA, less penetrations, less chances for a leak. To me, performance always outweighs aesthetics on roof components.
