This article http://money.cnn.com/2010/05/21/smallbusiness/1099_deluge/index.htm?source=cnn_bin&hpt=Sbin explains the new 1099 rules that were hidden in the health care bill.

You will need to keep track of all purchases over $600. You are going to need the Fed Id# of Home Depot, your truck dealer, your gas station, office supplies, etc.

I wonder if I am going to have to file a 1099 for the liquor it is going to take to get me through the new forms?

They're rerunning the tailings from the gold mine (namely the taxpayers) to recover the dust that falls between the floorboards).

No telling how many more IRS agents they'll put on the payroll to deal with this (maybe 350 billion worth ?)

No, it won't be put to any good use, as usual.

Well if they would use the expected 350 billion windfall from this to pay for the health care I guess it is a win. But they won't so we will lose.
