According to AEP Span:

Touch-up paint pens are available and applied manually after installation to repair minor scratches and chips on metal panels. Paint pens have a small applicator tip that will fit into the scratches. It is important to note that touch up-paint will not have the same color retention or weatherability as the original factory finish. Touch-up paint should be purchased from the metal roofing supplier, rather than going to your local hardware store. For more information, view our blog on Touch-Up Paint.
