MOVED TO THE NEW SERVER - SO WHAT'S NOT WORKING?

For one my emails have been down so if you are emailing me good luck! I saw that Roof Medic mentioned photos disappearing.

Anything else?

Old links works for me now. That did keep me away for a while. I use /rcs

Hmmm, well I know they set it to use the old link. I'll ask Steve.

I wonder if some people are still having trouble with their access? The old link works for me now, wonder if it reads a cookie or anything ???

Steve thinks he has it all working! Thank's Steve! All new server and new software. Keep your fingers crossed that Steve has caught it all. Wheew.

Yes Mike the same thing happened to me. I had the forum open on Safari so I was able to create a new bookmark for the forum. The old bookmark just took me to the advertisement for their site. Even from Google if you click on RCS forums you get the advertising with no link out. You think they would have a button to click "Go to RCS forum" or something like that if they wanted to advertise.

Without knowing RCS was switching servers I might of thought the site had been taken down.

When Steve moved the site to the new server it took a few hours to 'populate' so anything done in that time period is still on the old server. Do you want us to go back and find the comments?

When I hit my bookmark www.rooferscoffeeshop.com/rcs it took me a server page touting the reasons the RCS chose their company for their server site.

There's no link to the RCS or the forum from that page, that I see.

Kinda cheesy/chintsy.

Not a problem changing the new default address, but you've manually got to go to the RCS homepage then click forums. Might want to address that.

I posted two replies Wednesday and logged off. When I logged back on, they were not there.
