A client called to say his 9 year old SS copper roof is now leaking! It proves I'm a failure and should get out of this business, eh? :(

He had so much snow up there he had to shovel it off.

Now, he says that slits have appeared in the roof wherever the ice built up on his shovel and he had to beat it on the roof to get the build-up off the blade. :woohoo:

I can hardly wait to get out there to make repairs. :S

Reminds me of National Lampoons Xmas Vacation, When Chevy Chase is on top of his house stapling all those of strands of lights to his roof....

I had a client fasten his xmas lights along his ist floor new sbs flat roof, with wires along the base of the cant with 3"ardox nails, so they would not blow off. So I get the call in March when the snow has melted-my new roof is leaking. takes all kinds

I'm in your club too tinner. One of my tin roofs leaked a few years ago and the guy called me screaming. Sooo I goes there and low and behold there were all these tiny holes everywhere about 3 ft. up the roof. Seams he thought he should knock off the ice along the eave so of coarse he used an ice pick  Now it was my fault it was leaking. :S
