Its been a long time since I have been on the deck lol, as I was driving I caught a whiff of hot asphalt so I followed my nose There it was a small pumper pumping hot up to a second floor. It brought back many memories I sat around for around 1 hr watching the kettle man work I thought I would offer him a few tips, but I said to my self keep your mouth shut I did mention to him that the kettle was running to hot cause of the green smoke coming out ofthe vents since the kettlr had no gauges I assumed it was running about 600 or 650 , he turned the burners down and the wit smoke appeared after a while, now it was time to go lol I loved that hot B) B)

Grumpy thats how we could tell who were roofers and the ones who were not. Usually when you work with hot you can understand all the tricks of roofing although we put single ply down, modified, tpo pvc SPF Metal decking just a all around contractor and designer I must have taught 50 people who later went into their own biz, but our speciality was hi rise reroof and sometimes complete maintenance, for over 35 years and 100' of employees later it all came to a end lol Now I sit in a wheelchair and dream lol my surgeon said that I'm a candidate for 2 new hips but he said sorry I can't help you its to big of a operation at your age,s I quit taking 180 mgs of morphine years ago so I live with the pain and think about the good times lol what ever they were Its nice to chat with you Ryan is working his ass off and still travel state to state My last venture was in Texas in 2008 I was doing strickly paper work for the Insurance companies and local adjusters after a year i said adios backto Fl lots of changes in this industry but I still do not think they have come up with a compatible product like hot coal tar lol

Needs oxygen. Opening the lid on an overheated kettle is where you get a really nasty surprise.
