Yep! Back when I was doing Installs I would always joke around with the other guys, that if you fall off, you better nail at least 2 or 3 shingles on the wall of the house on the way down or your fired!

Not much traction on slate Willie. :ohmy: I use them sometimes though if less than 8/12 and I can't set up any better at times. The trick is to try to finish any repair before you slide too far away to finish, or go over the edge. Takes some of the boredom out of the job if you ask me. :)
