I've got an ins. question.

Ins. co. wants to pay $4,700 for a totalled car, which goes along with various nada/kelly, etc....I suppose similar to roofing Xacto/etc...

However.....Average cost to replace is $8,000. We've done the reseach...It's plain'n simple. However ins. adjstr. won't budge. Seems as though we are forced to sue insured, along w/ins. co.

I would imagine this is similar to what can go on w/roofing/home losses.

What say you?

thanks!!!!

Tom, I don't know much about auto insurance. As with property ins the contract (policy) is the place to start. It explains what the options are. I just got home from both Colo fires. While there, a poor soul had a vintage X type Jaguar in his garage. It totally melted to the frame when the home toasted. I can't get into the claim details, that being said the car was worth much more than he had it insured for. I am currently home preforming roofing repairs. Amazing how long customers will wait because they know I will not cheat or steal from them. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
